KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- To manage the breakfast service to the quality standards required.
- Meeting & exceeding guest expectations.
- Setting up breakfast tables every morning ready for the guests.
- Reporting to the Restaurant Manager.
- Greeting guests to the dining room and showing them to their tables.
- Welcoming, greeting and assisting the guests to hotel standards.
- Taking orders and service food / refreshments.
- Clearing tables ready for the next people.
- Helping clear down the dining room at the end of service.
- Helping set up the dining room ready for lunch service.
- Ensuring that all food and beverage products are served to the correct standards.
- Serving meals, snacks and beverages within the executive lounge and boardroom.
- Ensuring that bar and lounge tables and stations are clean and tidy.
- Ensuring that all mini bars are checked and replenished.
- Staff training & development.
- Staff rotas & wage controls.
- Health, safety & hygiene regulations enforced.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Have previous food and beverage experience within a four or five star hotel.
- Have a good knowledge of food and beverage products.
- Positive and passionate approach.
- Be able to deal with guests and staff members in a professional manner.
- Be dynamic, organised and have a pro-active attitude.
- Confidence within their area to meet daily routines & challenges with a smile.
- Be eligible to work on a full-time basis within the UK.
