JOB | HOSTESS

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for a Hostess to join the F&B team in the Restaurant of a five star Hotel. Responsible for greeting all visitors to the Restaurant, coordinating bookings, answering queries, allocating tables and supporting the wait staff you will be friendly, attentive and passionate about the customer service experience. 

You will know and understand what it means to deliver a 5 star F&B service and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding the guest's expectations. In addition you possess a warm and welcoming nature, understanding of the day to day operations within a busy restaurant and possess excellent administrative and organisational skills. 
You should have previous experience of working within a restaurant, preferably either at supervisory level or as a Hostess, and be looking to join a prestigious company with reputation for service excellence.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

·   Previous experience as a Restaurant/Bar Waitress (minimum 6 months) 

·  A proven track record and background in a busy restaurant and bar environment 

·   Good knowledge of Wines and Food 

·   The ability to work calm and well under pressure

·   A good approach to teamwork and ability to manage a busy section 

·   Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal

·   Superb attention to detail

Desirable:

·   Knowledge of Micros
